I panted. I exhaled. I sighed.
My body shivered.
My body thudded.
My body shook.
I just kissed Reyansh. No. REYANSH KISSED ME. And it was nasty, hungry for those lips kiss. I was ready to die, even if that was the thing after kissing him.
He kissed like he needed me.
He kissed like he wanted me.
He kissed like he loved me.
I entered the auditorium calming my thudding heart. Mr and Mrs. Singh looked at me and smiled. I smiled back, it was bigger than usual. “Good afternoon sir, I am sorry I got late.”
“It’s okay, so, what did you think of the fest this year?”
“Am I allowed to organize?” I asked, anticipatedly. “Yeah, you can, your seniors suggested your name.”
“Oh my god, thank you. I am so happy,” I cheered. Today was the best day. “But before that, tell me the updates on the Salsa dance you were going to do if the fest happened.”
“I will, of course I will.” I answered and grinned. “Excuse me, who are you?” Mrs. Singh asked somebody behind me and I turned back to make my breath stop.
“Her dance partner,” Reyansh answered Mrs. Singh and looked at me. His lips curving into a smile.
Did he just smile? Oh my god! I am going to faint next.
Wait, dance partner? I am not getting sued, I have never seen Reyansh dance.
“Oh we haven’t seen you around the dance rehearsals ever in the two years of college.” Mr. Singh asked and Reyansh nodded. “I am quite an introvert, sir. But my friend asked me if I could join her, I couldn’t deny.” He lies perfectly. Such a big liar.
“Yeah- that’s sweet, can I show you what we’ve prepared?” He asked and I looked at him, wide eyed. They nodded instantly and he pulled me backstage.
I glared at him before pushing him against the wall. “Who the fuck do you think called you here? And who the fuck do you think will let you dance?”
“You, the fuck, called me here, since we needed to have a word. And you, the fuck again, will let me dance.”
“I don’t see that happening.”
“Never say never.” He smiled again before playing the music. He grabbed me and started moving perfectly. My eyes came out of sockets seeing his legs move. Did he know how to dance? What else has this guy never told me?
My eyes gawked him in shock as he swayed swiftly along the music and pulled me into it too. My reputation was at stake, so I joined him, our bodies dancing perfectly together. The music stopped and I heard Mr and Mrs. Singh clapping for us. We both bowed before going backstage.
“What is wrong with you? Didn’t you reject me? Didn’t you?” I screamed in his face as soon as I reached backstage. “Saisha-”
“No, you should stay away.”
“But we’re dance partners now, you have to practice with me.” He smiled at me again. Goddamn his smile. It’s getting difficult to control myself, but I will. “No, I’ll get a new dance partner.”
“Dance with another guy Saisha and he’ll not be able to walk, than dance.” He whispered, his mouth dangerously close to mine. I exhaled and looked away. “You’ll beat Mihish?” Mihish was one of the dancers in the club and was tall and big, but it made him more jealous and sexier as he smirked. “Only if he moved like I did, love. And only if he had this chemistry with you like me. And trust me no other hand fits your waist like mine.”
I sighed, the ‘NO’ would never come back. I shook my head and went outside. He followed. I wasn’t sure what would happen next, but right now I just needed to go and die.
