A peaceful sleep, something I hadn’t taken for a week. Shanaya aunty and Abhimanyu uncle have been the best friends of my parents since a long time. I love the bold woman Shanaya aunty is.
And what they did for me yesterday, I would always be grateful to them. I would be the most grateful to Reyansh. I always thought he was discourteous, but what he did yesterday changed my whole perception.
Round frames. Pretty hazel eyes. Beautiful cold face.
That was Reyansh Arora for me now. And I was sure it was going to be the same for a long long time.
“Good morning, aunty. Thank you so much.” I hugged her as she smiled at me. “Saisha, you’re like a daughter to me, and if you ever need any help, I’ll always be there for you.”
“That means a lot, are you coming with me to the college today?” I asked as she picked up her purse. “Yes, we’ll be sitting in the Dean’s office.” She asserted and we reached outside to find Abhimanyu uncle waiting for us. He smiled at me before opening the gate. He was such a gentleman.
Okay, Reyansh picked up everything from his dad, maybe he forgot the smile.
We entered the college and I and Reyansh got out of the car. We walked towards our class when Reyansh stopped me. “You don’t have to see it,” He suggested and I smiled. “You told me to be strong.”
“Slap him in the face then, will you?” He asked and I winked. A crack appeared in the mask of coldness, revealing a gentle upturn of lips. Okay there is a possibility to see him smile.
We went inside and everyone looked at us. Reyansh’s face turned colder and his eyes looked at everyone as if he would shoot them. I silently went to a corner seat and he stood near the podium. Shruti ma’am entered the class with a pendrive and nodded at Reyansh.
“Good morning students. I got to know there has been a lot of indifferent behavior being caused to one of my favorite students.” She announced and I sighed.
“Well I cannot believe a guy would stoop so low on being rejected and the rumors would be made reality, without asking the other one.” She shouted as if complaining. Everyone looked at each other, and then turned at me.
“Rudra, come here.” Shruti ma’am shouted and he got up, his face sweating. Obviously, duh. He got down from his seat and went near the podium. Shruti ma’am plugged in the pendrive on the laptop there and the projector turned on.
I closed my eyes, and felt a pair of hands pressing my hands. I knew whose hands they were, I knew the video was being played. What I didn’t expect was, the sounds were available too.
You wouldn’t mind a fling, would you?
One kiss is all it takes.
Don’t TOUCH me.
SAISHA!
That bitch! I’m not going to leave her!
You didn’t, Rudra. You spoiled everything for me. You spoiled every second of the good memories I had collected with this batch. You made each and everyone a person I would never forget in my entire life.
“This is WHAT EXACTLY HAPPENED.” I heard Shruti ma’am scream. But I didn’t open my eyes.
Destroyed peace. Disturbed brain. Doomed heart.
I was scarred for life.
“Saisha, let’s go, slap him.” Reyansh whispered and I opened my eyes. Tears ran down my face as he nodded at me. I stormed off the table and went to Rudra. He looked at me with no shame.
Without knowing what would happen next, I slapped his face. Everyone in the room was silent, everyone heard the sound of slap louder than the mocking they did.
“Because of you, I would be scared. I would be scared of every other person coming into my life. I would be scared of being asked to stay back in the classroom alone. BECAUSE OF YOU!” I screamed and cried. Before I could fall down on the floor, Shruti ma’am grabbed me firmly. I stood back, and she glared at him.
“You’ll be kicked out of the university. Your parents are called right now.” Ma’am chastised him. “You slut-” He sauntered towards me before Reyansh came in between us and punched him.
Everyone got up from their seats and I gawked at him in shock. “How dare you call her that again!”
He never spoke the word. That word, bad word, but never a slut.
“Reyansh-” Rudra glared at him. “Say her name with your mouth again and I’ll slit your throat with a knife bigger than your dick.” Reyansh roared intimidatingly and everyone eyeballed him in shock.
WOW.
“Reyansh, calm down.” Ma’am spoke and Reyansh took a step back. “There, you’re expelled.” She informed him and Rudra glared at us before leaving. I sighed, I sighed in relief.
There was something heavy which suddenly lifted. I ran outside the class, I didn’t want anyone to see me getting emotional. These people didn’t deserve it. Reyansh followed me and waited for me to relax.
“Thank you.” I looked at him, delighted. Everything was fine, I needn’t be scared of Rudra. He nodded, his face devoid of any emotions. I saw an angry Reyansh a moment ago, and he was hot. No wonder what is wrong with me-
Maybe I turned mad.
Or maybe I should go die-
The icey countenance melted into a small curve of smile, a full fledged smile and I knew I had lost my heart.
“Don’t get into trouble again and eat well.” He smiled softly, and went towards the Dean’s office.
Don’t faint.
Don’t faint.
Reyansh Arora smiled.
Reyansh Arora looked beautiful whilst smiling.
Maybe I was obsessed with the smile.
